I was at the Florida State fair this year taking pics of the silly, amazing, and odd things that I came across when I thought to myself, “Self, don’t just post these as an album on facebook, share them with others worldwide as well“. I decided that a forum needs to exist for the things we see at various fairs around this sophisticated country of ours. This site can be the “www.peopleofwalmart.com” of state fairs. (OMG have you seen that site?) After leaving the fair I felt highly sophisticated for at least a week. And if you know me, you know I am FAR from highly sophisticated. I believe that if the citizens of other countries that hate our country would just go to one field days, one county fair or any State fair, they would forever be over their grudge. They would, in fact, be texting back home “ROFLMAO” (if they text)(and if those words in their language start with R O F L M A or O.) So you see, this site is also my personal attempt at world peace since I’m too old to be Miss America and travel as an ambassador for our country. And in addition to being too old I have that scar on my knee. So send your fair and festival related pics to admin@yahoo.com and if I deem them worthy, I’ll post them giving you photo credit if you desire (ie tell me if you desire photo credit). If there is a person in your photo, make sure you have their permission to post it. If you’re a person in a photo that you see on here and want it removed, let me know that as well. No prob. But if you are in a pic on here you may want to contact that show “what not to wear” . I’m just sayin….. |
